MEMPHIS, Tenn. With swirling winds, a challenging course and an intensely competitive field, this week's champion at The 50th Bob Hope Classic trusted True Temper's Dynamic Gold SL steel shafts to deliver his first PGA TOUR victory. The win marked the third consecutive week that shafts designed and manufactured by True Temper earned the top honors on the PGA TOUR.Dynamic Gold and Project X branded shafts dominated the Top 10 finishers at the Bob Hope Classic. In addition to the champion, True Temper shafts were played in the irons of all the players finishing first to eighth-place.

"Dynamic Gold is the most popular golf shaft on the PGA TOUR, and has delivered hundreds of victories on every professional tour in the world," says Scott Hennessy, president and CEO of True Temper Sports. "We know that brand popularity today has to be combined with true innovation to ensure success. Players and playing conditions can be varied, therefore True Temper engineers have developed several unique shafts such as Dynamic Gold Super Light and Dynamic Gold High Launch to perfectly accommodate the individual playing needs of every golfer in all different type of playing conditions"

Featuring a high-flex, tour weight design, Dynamic Gold steel shafts are the top-selling steel shaft in golf and are preferred by skilled players seeking a low, penetrating ball flight. True Temper's Project X shaft is another successful brand which is well-known a providing a dedicated constant taper rate per inch for each shaft in the set. Longer taper rate results in more energy transfer to the ball and the ball gets up faster and flattens out for a penetrating trajectory. Dynamic Gold shafts are available in tapered and parallel irons and parallel woods, while Project X steel shafts are available in tapered and parallel irons.
