KBS Tour Stats

As part of the first KBS Update, we've run a quick study on how our steel shafts have performed at the PGA Tour level. The numbers demonstrate KBS Tour steel shafts quick adoption rate and popularity by some of the world's best players. The study is broken down into the following sections:

• PGA Tour
• 5 Player Performance
• Individual Performance

PGA Tour*

-KBS Tour steel shafts are currently in play by 40+ players on the PGA Tour

-Thus far in 2009, KBS Tour Steel shafts have:

• had 18 Top 10 finishes
• won 2 PGA tournaments
• finished T2 at The Masters in a stunning playoff
• and, also won the Senior PGA Championship

Top 5 Player Performance*

-Collectively, our top 5 players have performed very competitively this year averaging:

• 3% better than the PGA Tour in GIR
• 3% better than The PGA Tour in scrambling
• and, a 7 spot improvement in the world rankings since 2007*

-Those same top 5 players have also won over $6,927,594 in tournament winnings in 2009 and made 87.44% of tournament cuts.

Player Performance*

-The current #7 player in world rankings, and winner of the 2009 FBR Open, was ranked #92 in world rankings immediately prior to switching into the KBS Tour steel shafts. Last year alone, he won 3 PGA tournaments and is currently ranked 1st on the PGA Tour in Top 10 finishes.

-The current #37 player in the world, currently using KBS Tour steel shafts, was just ranked last month:

• 1st in consecutive cuts made (33 total)
• 1st in sand shots
• and, 2nd in ball striking

-Similarly, the #43 player in the world rankings, also using KBS Tour steel shafts, is 3rd on the PGA Tour in birdie average and has improved 100+ rankings since switching to KBS last year.
