Part-1:
ICG Clubmaker and Repair Certification Exam
The ICG Clubmaker and Repair Certification was developed so all members can demonstrate their knowledge and skills in the area of golf club assembly and repair. ICG Certified Clubmaker is a mark of excellence in the field of golf club assembly and repairs using the latest technology and techniques. This certificate of approval by the International Clubmakers Guild certifies that the recipient is a member in good standing of the ICG and skilled at Golf Club Assembly and Repair of all aspects; including but not limited to reshafting graphite and steel in all of the various club head designs. Additional demonstrated skills in repairs to putters, irons and a working knowledge MOI, Shaft Profiles and Spine Alignment.
Written Test must be completed within 30 days. The applicant can work on or rework questions as much as they want but will be able to submit only once for a grade. The grade must be 80% or better to pass

Skills Test: (Cost $100 retake $50)
Applicants will supply their own material per test specifications (Special requests for optional skills testing may be included such as a bore through head or request to remove a broken shaft flush with the hosel, along with other items could also be included such as spine alignment or MOI matching points scored with the optional items will be scaled in with the overall test score)
Skills test will be graded by Regional Graders to a standard grade sheet

ICG Clubfitting Certification Exam
The written exam will be on the same platform as the Clubmaker with the same constraints and the skills test will be of a slightly different format. Both tests are under development.

The ICG Certified Clubmaker Exam is designed to be difficult. However, it is also designed to be a learning experience. You are encouraged to use your Clubmaking resources to help you complete the examination (Internet, books, magazines, articles, etc.). We recommend the following references be available when taking the exam:
