Certification and Training Courses

Notice to Clubmakers

November 17th, 2008

It is not the intent of the International Clubmakers Guild to have any member feel that his or her previous investment to attain certification was a waste.

Therefore, all International Clubmakers Guild members holding certification from other associations or Clubmaking organizations are welcomed to use and advertise any and all such certificates and achievement documentation within the context and guidelines set forth by the International Clubmakers Guild. The Technical Committee further has recommended that previous levels of certification cannot be grandfathered toward ICG Certification.

Recognition eligibility includes but is not limited to:

1. Certified AGCP Clubmakers
2. Certified GCA Clubmakers
3. Certified I-PAC Clubmakers
4. Certified PCS Clubmakers (now defunct)
5. Clubmaking Training School graduates (certificate bearing)
6. Europe, Asia, or Australian Clubmaker Training Certification
7. Dynacraft’s Schools graduates
8. Golfsmith’s Schools graduates
9. Golfworks’ Schools graduates
10. Mitchell Golf Schools graduates
11. Rifle School graduates
12. Swing Science School graduates
13. True Temper Black Gold graduates

From this starting point the Technical Committee will begin to build International Clubmakers Guild Training and Educational programs along with appropriate Certification testing.

The Technical Committee encourages all International Clubmakers Guild members to apply for and obtain whatever level of Certification would be applicable to that member when Certification in that particular discipline becomes available.
