Press Release: International Clubmakers Guild to Partner with PGA Show Organizers for 2012 PGA Merchandise Show
The International Clubmakers Guild (ICG), in cooperation with PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions, is pleased to announce the introduction of the "ICG Connection Center" at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show, January 25-28, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
Attracting more than 40,000 golf industry professionals from around the world and nearly 1,000 golf manufacturers, the PGA Merchandise Show is golf's global business platform where industry leaders grow the business, participation and interest in golf. All ICG members-in-good-standing are eligible to attend the PGA Show free of charge by simply applying on-line in advance for a show admission badge or in person at the main registration booth the day of your arrival.
The ICG Board of Directors is very excited to have been afforded this opportunity, and we encourage all ICG members to make plans to attend the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show and help make the ICG Connection Center a success.
A survey poll will be in place on the ICG Members' Forum in order to estimate the number of ICG members planning to attend and to provide event coordinators some idea as to the number of people expected at the "Meet & Greet," Annual Membership Meeting, and technical seminars. Please take a few moments to respond to this survey during your next visit to the ICG Forum.
The ICG Connection Center will afford attendees the opportunity to meet with vendors dedicated to the clubmaking profession, attend continuing education seminars, network with golf industry professionals, and participate in the inaugural ICG general membership meeting. The Connection Center will be located just off the main exhibit floor in a large convention meeting room to afford ample space and easy access for all attendees.
ICG sponsors will have the opportunity to showcase their products and present technical seminars while members will be able to meet face-to-face with ICG sponsors, PGA members, industry professionals and other ICG members. A meeting for all current ICG members will also be held to give members a chance to meet the ICG Directors in person.
In addition, a total of ten (10) technical continuing education seminars are planned during the course of the 3-day event (4 on Thursday, 4 on Friday, and 2 on Saturday). More details on specific seminar topics & speakers will be announced as the schedule firms up. PGA members will be issued credit for attendance at these seminars.
Sincerely,
Steve Newton, ICG Secretary
